Unless Websites are a part of an intranet or local net the name of the game is about getting the message out. Websites are generally designed to be findable such as from a lookup in search engines or by links pointing to them. Most Web pages contain textual content which makes them easier to optimize for findability.

The news that Bloglines, an online feed reader and aggregator, will be shut down has sparked interesting discussion on the future of RSS feeds and especially feed readers. Few years ago feed readers popped up in volumes both as desktop applications and as online services.
