Choosing and managing colors on a Web site is no easy task. Colors are elements that we often take for granted, but behind a color scheme of a nice looking Web site, there might be a lot of work involved. How does one choose colors and color schemes for a Web site?

There are two categories of Web sites: those with background color and those without background color which is preferably white, but that depends on the browser configuration of each user. Black and white is probably the most common background colors.

A good place to start choosing color scheme is by examining photographs and graphics of a Web site, including logo, and pick colors from those elements.
