Keyword Analysis with Online Tools

During the last decade of the Twentieth century, keywords were important when doing search engine marketing. Most search engines at that time were keyword and phrase sensitive used that approach when performing calculations on search engine results, but the major search engines of today have taken a different path.

Performing keyword analysis on a Web page involves analysis on textual content, text of links, text in URLs, text in ALT attribute, Title attribute, and on the head section, that contains the Title of the Web page and Meta description. The most important part of the keyword analysis is probably the analysis of the text of links.

Online tools and desktop software for keyword analysis are helpful when Web sites grow or Web pages get longer. The content and nature of blog pages, social bookmark pages and article pages with commenting often change. Performing keyword and phrase analysis on such pages might be a good idea to fine-tune them for better search engine performance.
