Some search engines spider the Web to find Web sites, some rely on user generated input and others request a fee for a listing with them. Many search engines offer form on their Web sites the user fills out with information regarding an URL or Web site in general. Submitting to those search engines can be valuable for any Web site and it is important for any Web publisher to identify those search engines.
