Classified advertising is a big business. Billions of dollars are spent on classified advertising worldwide. They come in the form of magazine classifieds, newspaper classifieds and of course Internet and Web classifieds. The traditional publishers and Web publishers are competing for classified advertising dollars. Similar to other advertising sectors both offline and online classified advertising will survive.
