Affiliate networks were a delivery from heaven to the most active affiliates. Having one hub featuring many merchants made the life of the power affiliates much easier and brought new opportunities to them. The number of affiliate networks hasn't grown in the same numbers as the Web in general, but there are very good affiliate networks out there that still can make the life of the power affiliate much easier and productive.
